A poster gets between one and three seconds of attention, usually from someone walking past who was thinking about something else. Everything about poster design follows from that constraint: one message, one focal point, and type readable from the distance people will actually stand.
Designed for the Distance
A poster that works on screen frequently fails on a wall, because the designer judged it at 30cm and the audience sees it from five metres. We design to viewing distance — headline sized for the far read, supporting detail for anyone who stops. If a passer-by cannot take the single most important message in one glance, the poster has not done its job.
Formats We Produce
- Standard print sizes from A3 to A0
- Large format for building and billboard applications
- Roll-up and pull-up banner designs for events and fairs
- In-store and window promotion materials
- Digital versions sized for social media and screens
Our Process
1. Message and placement
One core message, and where the poster will hang — indoors, outdoors, at eye level or above. Placement changes the design more than most people expect.
2. Concept and layout
We develop concepts with a clear focal point and a hierarchy that survives being glanced at rather than read.
3. Production preparation
Bleed, resolution and colour profile set for the size and material — large format needs different file preparation from A3.
Why Reklart
We print as well as design, so the material and finish we specify are ones we produce. Outdoor posters need weather-resistant substrate and UV-stable ink; indoor ones do not, and paying for that unnecessarily is waste. We advise on both. Digital versions for your social channels are included, sized correctly rather than cropped from the print file.
