Handles and Construction
Twisted paper handles suit everyday retail and are fully recyclable. Cotton rope handles carry more weight and read as premium. Ribbon handles suit gift and cosmetics packaging. Die-cut handles remove the handle cost entirely and give a clean, modern look. We also reinforce the base and top edge where the contents are heavy — a bag that fails is worse than no bag at all.
Our Process
1. Sizing and load
We start with what goes in the bag and how heavy it is, which determines board weight, base construction and handle type.
2. Design and dieline
Artwork is laid out on the flat dieline so your logo lands correctly on the front panel once folded — a detail easily lost when designing to a flat rectangle.
3. Sample
For larger runs we produce a physical sample so you can check size, strength and finish before committing.
4. Production
Printing, laminating, die-cutting, gluing and handle fitting, then packing in counted bundles.
